Explosive Irish guitar quintet, Gurriers are back with incendiary new single ‘Erasure’ their first new music since their critically acclaimed debut album Come and See. ‘Erasure’ finds the group once again working with producer Alex Greaves with mixing from Pelle Gunnerfeldt (Viagra Boys, The Hives), delivering another slice of the cacophonous sound fans have come to expect from the group.
“Erasure is a chaotic mash of genres, an unwavering cry into the void in the face of imperialism and tyranny” claims the ever approachable Gurriers frontman Dan Hoff. The visual component of Gurriers has always been as important to the band as the sound so as you’d expect the video for Erasure from director Adam Hart is suitably intense with a Black Mirror-esque edge.
Following a successful festival season with standout performances at All Together Now, Beyond The Pale, Glastonbury, Green Man and Rock Werchter amongst others the group are now poised to attack America in March with their first full tour.
Following a series of support slots for Kneecap this summer Gurriers are also set to open for the Irish trio later this month at Wembley Arena on September 18.
