INDIEPENDENCE is an independently run festival weekender. The event takes place across 4 stages and has an intimate capacity of 5,000.

INDIEPENDENCE is located at a new venue this year at Deer Park Mitchelstown, Co. Cork. Deer Park is located on the old Dublin Road out of Mitchelstown. It is less than 1 miles from the centre of Mitchelstown.

It is taking place on the August Bank holiday each year which falls on July 31st & August 1st 2010. The campsite opens on July 30^th at 4:00PM

The arena opens each day at 12:00PM. There is an onsite campsite which opens Friday July 30th at 4:00PM to enable campers to get there early and relax.

Weekend Camping €79 –  Buy Now

Your Weekend Camping Ticket allows you access to the arena during opening times and access to the campsite for the weekend. The campsite opens at 4PM on Friday July 30th and closes at 1PM on Monday August 2nd.

Weekend Non-Camping €59 – Buy Now

Your Weekend Non-Camping Ticket allows you access to the arena during opening hours for the weekend.

CHILDREN – This is an over 18’s event and ID is required. Children under 12 will be admitted free when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children close to their teenage years must show proof that they are twelve years of age of under.

Camping

Camping this year is onsite and the campsite is only a two minute walk from the main arena.

The camp site is on an enclosed onsite location, right beside the festival arena, and manned by a security team.

The campsite opens at 4PM Friday 30th July and will close 1pm Mon 2nd August.

There will be a Campsite shop which will sell basic provisions.

There are hot showers, wash basins and toilets. Their location will be shown on the festival map. Separate Male & Female showers are available but these will be communal.
