Irish/Malaysian artist Yunè Pinku has connected with alt-dance legends Hot Chip on their latest single ‘Fire Of Mercy’ which takes its conceptual cues from William Blake’s ‘Songs of Experience’.

“It bemoans the corruption that inevitably comes from adulthood and longs for a return to the purity of childhood,” explains Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard of the new track which follows in the footsteps of ‘Line In the Sand’ their recent collaboration with Brian Eno and Goddess.

‘Fire of Mercy’ will no doubt see Yunè Pinku aka Asha Yunè who has previously collaborated with the likes of Logic1000 and Boxed In and reworked tracks by Charlie XCX and Biig Piig grow further in stature within the dance community.

“Massive honour to work with Hot Chip as they’re huge legends within the electronic world. When they played me ‘Fire of Mercy’ and asked me to jump on the track, I was thrilled to work with them,” added the up-and-coming artist.
