Fuck me, Vernon Jane are back with another epic tale focussed on the darker side of human nature. Fragile surveys the struggle between keeping yourself together, or letting yourself truly fall apart.

“The water in the video represents the feeling of suffocating under your own expectations. We tell ourselves we have to be stronger. We have to get better, And stay better. We forget to tell ourselves to be our own authentic self. To find strength in vulnerability and fragility. We push ourselves until we break. This video represents a breaking point.” explains the septet who describe themselves as being a “psyjance” act; that’a a mix of punk and Jazz.

The video was directed by Conor Dockery (aka DOCK), whose work you can see from Bold Puppy and his many freelance projects. You may also recognise the name from Red Enemy and The Scratch, the latter announced a huge support slot at the upcoming Kodaline gig in Malahide Castle this summer.

Vernon Jane launch Fragile as part of a double single launch with fellow Plec Picks 2018 act Thumper in Sugar Club on Saturday April 7th.

Support on the night comes from boisterous post rock duo Bicurious with the main event followed by DJ’s ‘Twonys Cosmic Disco Wobblers’ until the wee hours.
