Vantastival have announced two great additions to their lineup with the addition of Whipping Boy and The Frank and Walters to their already brimming lineup.

Whipping Boy enjoyed prominence in the 90s but broke up after their third album, reforming in 2005 briefly and will reform again to headline the Main Stage on Sunday 1st May.

The Frank and Walters are one of the biggest alt rock bands coming out of Cork and will join the lineup for the May bank holiday weekend which includes Duke Special. Wallis Bird, The Cast Of Cheers, Jamie Lawson, Donal Dineen and many many more at Dunany Estate, County Louth.

The festival is famed for it’s BYOB Policy (Bring Your Own Beer) and tickets for the weekend camping cost €85 making it one of the cheapest festivals in Ireland. The festival celebrates campervan culture and also showcases Irelands finest up-and-coming acts from the thriving Irish music scene.  The Riptide Movement, Windings, We Cut Corners, Sanzkrit, Bipolar Empire and Sweet Jane are just a handful of the 70+ acts due to perform over the three days of the event, Additional features include the Gramophone Disco, a cinema tent and an open mic stage, as well as a Campervan Cook-off, Scrapheap Challenge and a number of other quirky campervan activities.

The festival runs from Friday 29 April to Sunday 1 May and €40 day tickets are also available, €30 entry for 14-17 year olds and free entry for children under 14.
