GP - Abe Tarrush - Justin Timberlake @ Phoenix Park (20)Ahead of the release of the Coen Brother’s latest film ‘Inside Llewyn Davis’, NPR have released an exclusive preview of Justin Timberlake performing one of Ireland’s most famous songs, The Auld Triangle. The film sees good old Trousersnake play a struggling folk artist struggling to make it big in New York in the early 1960’s.

The tune, originally written by Dominic Behan to feature in his brother Brendan’s play ‘The Quare Fellow’ was made famous when performed by Luke Kelly & The Dubliners. This rendition however features Timberlake putting on his best Irish accent as he and Marcus Mumford (without his sons) accompany Chris Thile, Chris Eldridge and Gabe Witcher. You can listen to their offering on the NPR website right HERE.
