It’s like we are being dished up portions of Oxegen as separate gigs throughout our wet and wild summer (it’s a prediction, don’t blame me if it rains at this gig). As much as I am a fan of festivals, some are just so disparate and you are paying ticket prices which include costs of acts you don’t particularly want to see.
This urban day festival concept of Phoenix Park hosting six events during the summer is fast appealing to me more and more, as MCD continue to trot out well matched lineups that will sell out with relative ease. Stone Roses, Snow Patrol and Florence already in the bag it’s time for the third in the series and this time it’s Swedish house Mafia, Tinie Tempah, Snoop Dogg and Calvin Harris.
The event will take place in Phoenix Park on Saturday 7th July 2012 with tickets for the event priced at €59.50 inclusive of booking fee and are limited to 8 per person. Tickets go on sale Friday 9th March at 8am and are available from Ticketmaster.ie and outlets nationwide.
