Super Furry Animals have announced they will reunite for a series of live shows – their first since 2009 – to coincide with a fifteenth anniversary reissue of their 2000 Welsh language album ‘Mwng’.
It might not be obvious but we’re fairly excited about this news and we’ve got fingers, toes and arms crossed that this means a show across the Irish sea will materialise. Who knows, maybe even a contender for an addition to the Electric Picnic lineup with more names expected next week.
If you’re lucky enough to live in Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester and London, the below are the live shows announced so far. Go grab tickets, they won’t last long.

O2 Academy, Glasgow – May 5
