Peru’s finest musical export, Sofia Kourtesis is set to return to Ireland this November for a show at The Button Factory. The Berlin based artist has built a reputation as one of bestelectroni acts in the world thanks to impressive support slots for the likes of Caribou and Bicep and standout performances at Glastonbury, Green Man and Wide Awake.

Kourtesis has remixed for the likes of Diplo, Georgia, Flume, Tourist and Honne alongside releasing her critically acclaimed 2022 EP ‘Fresia Magdelena’. Her debut album ‘Madres’ is set to arrive on October 27th via legendry dance label Ninja Tune.

‘Madres’ is dedicated to neurosurgeon Peter Vajkoczy who performed life-saving surgery on Kourtesis mother following a heartfelt social media post asking fans to help her get in contact with Vajkoczy due to her mother’s ill health.
