Having racked up several million Spotify plays and sold-out a headline gig with their captivating brand of  bedroom pop and sweetly sincere songwriting, Smoothboi Ezra is one of the fastest-rising artists on the Irish scene at only 19-years-old.

On Stuck, the Greystones songwriter explores a relationship that is slowly fizzling out over a melancholic instrumental built around sombre guitar chords which compliment their gentle double tracked vocals as they relay the track’s narrative – all buoyed by a beautifully memorable melody.

Watch the Arthur Studholme directed video for ‘Stuck’ below:

“Stuck is a song about being in a relationship with someone you care a lot about but you know it’s not going to work out,” says Smoothboi Ezra of the track. “It’s an unsaid mutual agreement that you can feel the relationship ending but you’re both waiting on the other person to end it.”

Alongside the single release Smoothboi Ezra has also shared the 11 July release date for their new EP of the same name
