We have a ‘Durty Bit’ of news for you all and as the headline says that The Black Eyed Peas will return on Oxegen in 2011. The absolutely rocked the Vodafone Stage to a capacity crowd whilst competing with Muse which is a quandary for any music lover.
I chose to rock out to Muse but one of our other men was at The Black Eyed Peas and said that the show they put on was top-notch. Expect them to be Main Stage this year as they continue to grow and grow in stature with every release.
They join Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys, Blink-182 and Paulo Nutini in the lineup as MCD feed us 5 of the line-up as a pre-Christmas treat. Early bird tickets are on sale now so if you like what you’re seeing so far drop by Ticketmaster.ie and pick up a ticket.
Oxegen 2011 will take place in Punchestown Racecourse, Naas, Co. Kildare on Thursday 7th July to Sunday 10th July 2011. Early bird tickets can be secured with a desposit of €100 and the rest paid in two installments next year. The early bird will save you around €25 on post-christmas prices.
