[Whelans Record Fair]
The Second Whelan’s Record Fair (buy/sell LPs/7”s/CDs/Tapes/Cassingles/Flexi Discs etc) will take place in the bar and main venue of Whelans on Saturday October 15th.

It will run from 1pm to 5pm so get there early so you don’t miss all the good stuff.

[Pugwash and Dakota 66 to play Button Factory]
The incredible Pugwash play a headline gig in The Button Factory on Wednesday Oct 19. Special guest are Dakota 66 and The Kracks. The lads are only fresh off a support slot at Vicar Street for their friends Lir which they were joined at by David Gray.

Tickets are €14 inclusive of booking fee and doors are 7pm.

[Ruins play Twisted Pepper]
Ruins alone will be moving down to The Twisted Pepper from the originally planned show in The Button Factory. This is to accomodate the preferred intimate gig given from the small loft venue.

The gig is Friday September 30th. Tickets are €12 available from Tickets.ie and doors are at 7.30pm.

It’s been a big year for Blanchardstown band, Last Second Magic. A trip to Canada, support slots for Tupelo, The Mighty Stef and many more, a warmly received second EP and radio play across the world…

Now, to cap off a busy 12 months, the band has been chosen to return to Indie Week Toronto 2011, which runs from October 12-16, the second year they have been selected to play the Canadian festival.
