Another quick roundup of important news for you all.

Gemma Hayes has announced that she will play in The summit Inn, Howth on November 12th 2010 with support on the night from Ciara Sidine. Tickets are €16.99 and available from Tickets.ie or €15 from The Summit Inn.

The Frames as previously announced will be playing a host of gigs coming up. They have now added to that a brand new website and also two live recordings from 2007. The first is recorded in The Egyptian Theatre, Idaho and the second in Amsterdams Paradiso venue. The downloads are €5 each and the proceeds go to the Simon Community.

Fight Like Apes have added a rake of dates to an Irish tour which starts in Dublin at the previously announced Tripod gig. They will then spend December gigging around hitting Sky in the Crowd, Wexford (Dec 3rd), Cork Opera House (Dec 4th), Dolans, Limerick (Dec 10th), Nerve Centre, Derry (Dec 17th), Spring and Airbrake, Belfast (Dec 18th), Spirit Store, Dundalk (Dec 19th), Roisin Dubh, Galway (Dec 23rd) and finally The Stables, Mullingar (Dec 27th). Tickets for the December dates go on sale Wednesday 3rd November.

Tower Records are turning 17th this November 27th and to celebrate they have announced a massive day long party which will see GP favourites, Ham Sandwich and Republic of Loose, along with The Danger Is, The Might Stef, Howlin Dowlin and KVX.

XMusic – A 100% Irish owned Music instrument mega store have promised to offer Mary Byrne free production and distribution for one album for the talented X-Factor singer. She will also be able to keep all the royalties.  This is of course only if Mary isn’t offered a record deal after the show anyway which rumours coming out of the massive show say that Simon Cowell himself has offered her a 2 album deal win or lose.

Go Panda Go are set to hit the live scene again after releasing their debut EP today. They have announced 5 dates around Ireland starting in Cleere’s Bar, Kilkenny (Nov 19th), Crane Lane, Cork (Nov 20th), Roisin Dubh, Galway (Nov 25th), The Academy 2, Dublin (Dec 2nd) and finally Auntie Annies, Belfast (Jan 20th). –
