Back for it’s 10th year, almost as old as GoldenPlec at this point. The Meteor Choice Music Prize is back to cast judgement over the high quality of musical submissions through 2014.

As with every year, the judges have narrowed it down to 10 names and will pick the winner as a panel on the night of March 5th 2015 where a live event featuring the nominees will be held in Vicar Street.

The show will be broadcast on RTE 2 as a one-hour highlights program and be live on Today FM for a four hour special during an extended Paul McLoone show. Tickets for the show are €24 inclusive of booking fee and go on sale Friday 9th January at 9am. Ticket winning act received €10k and the title of Best Irish Album 2014.

It’s a big name lineup of acts this year with all the names massive mainstay’s or huge breakout artist in Irish music.
