Listen: The Original Rudeboys – Stars In My Eyes

The Original Rude Boys, the trio hailing from North Dublin who have been on a rollercoaster ride since forming in early 2011 are finally to release their debut single.

The viral hit ‘Stars In My Eyes’ will be released on iTunes to purchase on October 14th 2011. Since creating a monochrome YouTube video for the track in March they have gone on to over 160,000 views, showcases and gigs all over Ireland including Oxegen, special guests for 50 Cent, Eminem and UB40.

‘Stars In My Eyes’ is released on Rubyworks new GOTTA RUN imprint on iTunes and all good download platforms on Friday 14th October. The band will join Olly Murs, Bressie et al at the Help A Dublin Child charity gig at The Olympia Theatre on the same day.

The band’s next headline Dublin shows are at The Workman’s Club on Saturday 29th October: all ages matinee at 2pm, evening show at 8pm. The Original Rudeboys are working on their debut album with Jake Gosling in the UK in the months up to Christmas, for a release in spring 2012.
