Yes the headline tells you almost everything you need to know. The Knockanstockan festival is back again for 2011 and to quote James Hendicott on the festival… “It’s alternative, self-promoted, independent, ethos-loving and well thought out at almost every corner”.
The festival takes place on July 22nd to 24th on the grounds of Blessington Lake, tickets with camping are just €75. The launch night will take place on Tuesday 24th May in The Grand Social, Dublin.
Festival lineup will be announced at 6.30pm and then some acts from the lineup will provide entertainment including The Hot Sprockets, Sounds Of Systems Breakdown, The Cujo Family, Ross Breen to name but a few.
If your looking for something to do Tuesday night and don’t wanna spend a whole lot but want loads of great bands then you only have one choice that night, head to the Grand Social.
