Controversial, satirical rappers Kneecap have announced a second night in the 3Olympia Theatre this December ahead of their homecoming show in Belfast’s Ulster Hall. The shows follow The appearances at Airwaves Iceland and Pitchfork Paris this November and their forthcoming North American Smashing Walls Tour which is set to sell out.

The bilingual Belfast trio Móglaí Bap, Mo Chara, and DJ Provaí are also set to make their big screen debut in the forthcoming live-action feature ‘Kneecap’ by award-winning director Rich Peppiatt – which tells the story of the band’s beginnings.

“We’re buzzing to show people a side of Belfast that isn’t about guns, bombs and death” Kneecap said of the film, “To give an insight into the youth culture that has been born out of that madness – we all needed a break from it and there’s revenge in our laughter.”

Kneecap at the 3Olympia Theatre, Dublin 13th December 2023. Tickets from €27.40 including booking fees on sale Thursday 31st August at 10AM. Limited tickets available for December 12th.
