Europe took time out last night to pay homage to the pilgrimage made by so many each summer and honour the best of Festivals across the continent. The awards were held in a sold out ceremony in Groningen’s Stadsschouwburg in The Netherlands.
More than 350,000 votes were cast by fans to decide the winners and Ireland did VERY well with the best medium sized festival went to Electric Picnic, Best New Festival went to Temple House Festival and Best Line-Up went to Oxegen. All fair results we think.
