Indie Week is a toronto based twice annual music festival that takes place in Ireland each spring and Canada every autumn. They try to find the promising acts from Ireland and take them back to Canada with them for their showcase which contains 160 acts over four nights. This will be the third year of the Irish leg of the showcase and each year an Irish act gained Canadian management.
Canadian band These Electric Lives are performing every night of the Dublin festival (May 11th to 14th) as they were voted best of the 160+ bands from the last Indie week in Canada. They have been likened to Muse/Coldplay/The Cure which seems an interesting blend.

The Wednesday launch party will see Preachers Son, The Beat Poets, Sixteen Layers, These Electric Lives and The Whatmans upstairs in Sweeneys on Dame Street and downstairs will have Jennifer Clarke, Eoghan Colgan Rooftop Anthem, Last Second Magic and Windings all playing for FREE on Wednesday 11th May. Doors at 7pm
There are showcases on Thursday in Belfast and Friday in Dublin’s Grand Social with the grand final of the event taking place on the Saturday 14th May in The Grand Social. All the stage times and lineups are below just have a quick scroll.
