Recently, we took the Kodaline lads back to school. The guys performed a few songs for us (High Hopes - here) and it was all in aid of our Coast to Coast; Tea & Toast charity event in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland.
We sat the guys down in their old school Coláiste Choilm in Swords and we talked about their early school days, getting in trouble with the Gardai, dodgy hair cuts, popping your collar and getting involved in school events.
The guys are currently traveling across the US on a sold out tour, and with big appearances on shows like Dancing on Ice and American Idol under their respective belts; the lads future, notoriety and popularity shows no signs of slowing down.
With a sell out UK and Ireland arena tour (including one sold out date in Dublin's O2), various festival appearances and a slot playing with Kings of Leon in Marlay Park; the summer of 2014 looks to be an exciting one for our old GoldenPlec mates.
Fun (not fun at all) fact: 3/4 of the lads were part of GoldenPlec.com forums way back in 2004.
