Do festivals bring out the best people - or simply the best in people? Boobs, dancing, suits, hammocks and rainbows were all up for discussion at this year's picnic.
We set out to find some of the people who make Electric Picnic so special - take a few snaps - and ask them what was on their mind. The results, you'll find, are ... varied.
So with that said, we give you, the Humans of Electric Picnic.
"What is your favourite shape of rainbow?"
"I came by myself because Blur are my favourite band in the world. I've never seen them before so this is very exciting. I don't have a favourite song - to me they're all great!"
"This my 12th Picnic. As ever, the crowds get younger and I get older. It's still a bit special though and I'll still dance the pants off those kids."
"I work in Amsterdam but I came over for Electric Picnic. I've been enjoying telling women that. I've seen some stuff here that I could never repeat in a million years, not even to you."
"You could end up seeing anything and anyone at Body & Soul. We saw some dude playing afro-funk earlier. It was pretty good."
""I saw the biggest pair of boobs ever earlier. Out of the bra. I've never seen ones as big before."
"We came all the way over from Manchester to see Florence. We haven't seen anybody else yet. It's a little expedition for us!"
"Electric Picnic is like Christmas Day for me, so Monday morning is always the worst. Yesterday I was a sensei chief. Tomorrow, I'm going as a dragon."
"I'm running the Shane Gillen Magic Mushroom Tent. It's an immersive magic experience. People come in and find out how tricks are done. We have this big helmet that people can put on their heads. When they put it on, there's a screen inside and they can control a pick-pocket out on site at the Picnic."
"First impressions of the festival? Everyone's very chill, very mellow. We saw a man in a wedding dress earlier, just doing his thing."
"We had to get the ice creams! Dublin just won the match!"
"He has two tickets for the final, so I get to take a day off work to go with him."
"The thing is with this festival, as it gets bigger every year, you have a different experience each time."
"Our plan for the rest of the weekend? Float!"
"Dublin just beat Mayo. I am all over the place but I've had a great day."
(Lady) "His sister is in love with rainbows. She and her friend are Rainbow Rangers. They go around and rainbow everyone, so they did a couple on me."
(Guy) "I am in love with Davey Crockett and, of course, Jebediah Springfield, so I got this hat made from a racoon tail, and here we are!"
"My name is Tiny Pixie. Rainbows bring colour, light and love to everyone at a festival. It's a perpetual love giving experience for me. I give someone a rainbow - it makes them instantly happy and they start smiling. Then, I get happy and I'm full of love. People come up to me and go, "you're the rainbow girl! Can I have one?" And I'm like, "sure you can!" I make people hold my magical septre when I give them rainbows."
"We were in the Trailer Park and I decided to pick up this coat in a stall for fashionable and functional reasons. I like fake fur, but it was cold last night!"
"Electric Picnic has become a tradition for us. We go every year. This is about my eighth time here, and this is her sixth."
"This isn't just my first Picnic, it's my first concert. AND it's my birthday. I haven't seen anything crazy all weekend, except my boyfriend. I should be used to that by now."
"I love Body & Soul! Good people, good music and there's so much stuff - the best thing being lie in the hammocks."
(Guy) "Flamingos actually aren't my favourite animal. I like dolphins. Unicorns are my favourite though."
(Lady) "I am finding it so crazy seeing all the kids here, but otherwise it's really nice.""
(Guy) "The shirt is two sizes too big but I had to have it."
(Lady) "I mean, you can't go to a festival without a hot dog shirt really? You'd just look odd."
"Everyone has just been getting off with each other in the Jimmy Hendrix camp. It's been crazy. Just random couples coming out of tents every morning."
"Festivals are all about the sessions really aren't they?"
"I got my outfit in Penneys three years ago. Worn it to all my festivals"
"If you come here over enough years, you realise that people do make an effort to dress up."
