With just a week to go before Stradbally Estate opens its gates for Electric Picnic 2019, the festival has announced a major rejig of the site layout for this year’s instalment.

The Oscar Wilde campsite, a favourite among regular punters has been shifted to a previously unused area nearer to the main entrance to allow for a brand new area to be known as Freetown (see arrow on map).

Freetown will house a huge new music tent hosting big-name DJs as well as a cabaret stage. The full line-up for the new area is due to be announced later today (Friday).

The news comes just over a day since the festival announced the line-up for one of its newest stages, the 3 Made By Music stage, to be situated in the woodlands area.
