Post punk act DEAD SCHOOL are gearing up for a double A-side single release this month and then off on some tour dates that will take them through August to November.

The double A-side is for singles ‘Exude’ and ‘3:17’ which will be released on August 20th. As a band they are only a year old so they are still learning what they are about and I think we can expect an album to follow the double A-side.

They recently played the Hotpress Freezer sessions and Indiependence in July and will have a single launch on August 20th in Cyprus Avenue on August 20th before heading up to Whelans to launch it there on august 25th. They will be hitting the UK in September but first will play The Slate in Cork on September 4th. It’s then over to Dublin Castle in Camden (if London isn’t still suffering from it’s riot issues) on September 11th.

They will be back on Irish soil to play The Thatch in Tullamore on September 23rd supporting The Minutes and then The Roisin Dubh on October 13th and Dolans, Limerick on October 14th, those three dates all supporting The Minutes.

They will then support Whipping Boy on October 29th in Cyprus Avenue before flying up to Sweeneys in Dublin for a gig on Saturday 5th November.
Busy lads and more dates to be announced soon.
