Dead School and Battle for 2nd Place do Exchange gigs

Cork and Glasgow will be the hosts of a special exchange gig idea between Cork’s Dead School and Glasgow’s grunge pop act Battle For 2nd Place when they swap countries for each others releases.

Starting in Cyrpus Avenue in Cork on Saturday August 20th, Dead School will launch their new double A-side single ‘3:17 / Exude’ as their special release and on the night will be supported by Battle For Second Place.

Then three days later they will be in the Box in Glasgow on Friday 23rd September when Battle For 2nd Place launch their new ‘Half The Fire’ EP and of course that night will be supported by Dead School.

An interesting take on new releases and a great way for both to expand their fan horizons beyond their own country. Other bands of Ireland take notes.
