A range of Irish music legends are lined up to play a concert called ‘Console’ in Vicar Street at the end of the month.

Brian Kennedy, Mark Black, Declain O’Rourke, Eurovision songstress Niamh Kavanagh, Fiach, The Beer Mats, Jacqueline O’Dowd are all in the lineup for the impressive gig.

The gig is on October 24th 2010 and tickets are €25 a piece and are on sale now. The proceeds from this event is raising funds for the suicide bereaved.

The artists are giving their time and talent completely free of charge, and all proceeds from the concert will go directly to Console to raise funds to provide services for the suicide bereaved.

Paul Kelly from Console: “We have been running concerts with Irish greats in aid of Console for the past five years.  Last year, Brian Kennedy, Maura O’Connell and Rebecca Storm received a tremendous response, previously we have had Kieran Goss and Christy Moore – they were all sell-outs!  We are anticipating a huge response to Brian, Mary and the other acts at Vicar St., which will be hugely important to our fundraising.”
