Fresh from the success of her recent collaboration with John Grant, CMAT has added a third date at 3Olympia Theatre this winter due to demand. CMAT’s second album ‘Crazymad, For Me’ featuring the singles ‘Have Fun’ and ‘Where Are Your Kids Tonight?’ arrives on October 13th and is available to pre-order here.

It’s been quite the summer for CMAT who wowed Glastonbury with several appearances including a duet with Gilbert O’Sullivan. She also duetted live with her teen idols Bombay Bicycle Club in Ireland and Florence Welch could be seen rocking out side of stage when she opened for Florence + The Machine in Malahide. She has been working with Blossoms and hit single ‘Where Are Your Kids Tonight?’ received praise from Robbie Williams.

New single ‘Stay For Something’ is out right now. It’s basically just about questioning why I stayed / suffered in a bad relationship for as long as i did. trying to desperately find some kind of meaning in the mess and then being embarrassed when i remember the good parts.” explains CMAT of the new track which premiered at Hottest Record In The World on Clara Amfo’s BBC Radio 1 show.

“It’s not very lyrical or poetic, it’s just a lot of emotion and energy – this song, to me, sounds like going for a run at 1am with your headphones on full blast, screaming through the streets in order to get away from your problems. i hope that at least one person does that when they hear it.”

CMAT at 3Olympia Theatre on Thursday 30th November 2023. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10am via Ticketmaster.ie
