Remember last year? Yeah me too, good year, wait thats too wide a net, remember last year when Bulmers Live at Leopardstown brought live acts to the race-course to match the craic of a night at the dogs with awesome music. Oh yeah and they brought Paul Brady, Delorentos, Fun Lovin Criminals and more. Yeah it was pretty good.
Well it’s back. Spread out over June/July/August the Bulmers Live At Leopardstown and will feature your race-card, a bottle of bulmers, a delicious BBQ feast and of course a top musical act. Admission to the racing and concert is €15.
So eight nights over the summer start with Sharon Shannon and her Big Band with special guest Damien Dempsey on June 9th. Not a bad start, we then get The Undertones on June 16th, Cathy Davey on June 30th, Kila and Paddy Casey on July 7th, Republic of Loose on July 14th, The Saw Doctors on July 21st, Aslan on August 4th and finally Horslips with support from Jamie Lawson close out the shows on August 11th.
New to the Leopardstown line up this year will be Fashion Rocks, where one lucky man or woman at each event will win a €1,000 shopping package at House of Fraser for the best ‘after-work’ style! And one overall Fashion Rocks winner will be presented with a trip to Paris, the fashion capital of Europe plus a trip to the world famous French racecourse, Longchamps!
