Indie songwriter Justin Vernon or as he is more affectionately known as Bon Iver have confirmed their first UK & Ireland tour dates in over two years.
He will be bringing an 8 piece band and a new albums under his are when he arrives in June. The sophomore release by him is entitled ‘Bon Iver’ and it is out on June 17th and then the first single to be lifted from it will be called ‘Calgary’. Exclusive to this release will be a cover of Bonnie Raitt’s, ‘I Can’t Make You Love Me’.
Bon Iver will play The Grand Canal Theatre, Dublin on October 20th, 2011. Tickets for the show are just €34 and they will be on sale on Friday 20th May at 9am. Tickets available from Ticketmaster.ie and outlets nationwide.
