Well here we go, a final and definitive announcement of Arthur’s Days acts. A few more absolutely class acts to tell you about so do keep reading.
It all will be taking place in just about every venue going on September 22nd, with acts like Stereophonics, Aloe Blacc, The Sister Sisters and loads more previously announced it was already quite a strong lineup. We can today confirm that we will also be treated to Paulo Nutini, The Feeling, Kelis, The Charlatans, The Divine Comedy (Neil Hannon Solo), Fight Like Apes and Bell X1.
Now that’s a tasty mix of international and Irish acts. We can also tell you that if you missed out on tickets, get your game face on because EXTRA tickets are going on sale on Ticketmaster.ie from 11am tomorrow September 14th. You better have that credit card at the ready.
Don’t forget on the day to Check-In to whatever pub you are at via Facebook places and Guinness will donate €5 per Check-In to the Arthur Guinness fund up to a maximum of €500,000. All for a great cause, something we love here at GP.
Tickets are €15 for studio venues and €7.50 for the pub venue with all ticket sales proceeds going directly to the Arthur Guinness Fund.
RTE will also broadcast an hour long Arthur’s Day Highlights 2011 TV show starting at 10.45pm on the night from Dublin’s Olympia Theatre and Hopstore 13 venue at the heart of St James’s Gate Brewery. Presented by Rick Edwards and Laura Whitmore, expect, performances and interviews from some of the world’s most renowned music stars including Scissor Sisters, Stereophonics, Aloe Blacc, Yasmin, Ed Sheeran and other special guests.
