One of Ireland’s finest Rock’n’Roll acts, we were delighted to have The Hot Sprockets join us for a few tunes down at Knockanstockan this year for our Tea and Toast Jam. Formed from five lads, the band came together based on a joint love of all things rock and roll, things have gone up another level after the success of their debut album ‘Honey Skippin’.

We were delighted to have the guys join us for Tea and Toast Jam this year, all in aid of Pieta House. Due to a whole load of moshing the night before in the spiritual home of the Tea and Toast Jam in the Jimmy Lee Juke Joint,  we were left without a floor. This turned out to be the best news of the day as we took our acts out into the heat of the Knockanstockan fire pit.

The Hot Sprockets are spiked with the flavours of country and blues while also producing their own unique brand of rock. Their newest album, so far unnamed, which is set to further the fine reputation that these guys have made for themselves on the Irish music scene. And this reputation hasn’t gone unnoticed. Having had their music feature on such top TV shows as Raw,  BBC’s comedy “Fresh” and Irish film “Stitches”, the band were also named Hotpress’s winners of their ‘Play on the Day’ competition, beating thousands of bands in the process.

So sit back, relax and have a listen to the guys performing ‘Soul Brother’ out in the Knockanstockan sunshine.
