Something a little bit jazzy but sombre of a Wednesday evening?
Dig A Little Deeper, a brand new Irish band and they have just released their first single, ‘In My Corner’ and is taken from their album ‘Songs From The Small Hours’. The video is based around a boxing theme as is the song really, and the title. Indeed it’s very boxing orientated. They video was recorded in Bracken Boxing Club and Whitechurch Boxing Club and the band shots are from the ever classy Sugar Club. We’ve never met her in person but we’re almost certain that’s Riona Sally-Hartman on vocals.
The video is directed by Eamonn Gray (no relation to Christian). The album is to be officially launched with a headline show in Whelan’s on Wednesday 24th October 2012.
