Part One sees the band stopping off at a number of Dublin locations, including their regular meeting point at Merrion Square Park, their favourite music store The Music Maker, The Academy and The Twisted Pepper, both Jameson St. Patrick’s Live venues. Regaling stories of how they met, and what to expect at their performance, The Cast of Cheers offer a unique insight into the music culture at the heart of Ireland’s capital city.
Part Two sees the band introducing us to some of their favourite Dublin haunts. From the popular karaoke spot Uki Yo, top Japanese food and cocktail bar Izakaya, and notorious Irish pub J. Grogans, The Cast of Cheers show how to have a good time in Ireland’s capital city. The band also discuss their forthcoming performance at Jameson St. Patrick’s Live.
It’s a great watch, a nice insight into the band and a good way to prepare for having them melt your face as you dance Paddy’s day away to Bombay Bicycle Club, Jape and the good lads themselves, The Cast of Cheers. Tickets for the gig sold out in a matter of days but for those who don’t have tickets, the atmosphere and energy of the event, along with the entire set from Bombay Bicycle Club will be streamed live on www.jamesonwhiskey.com from 10:50pm (17.50ET / 15.50PT) so fans both in Ireland and worldwide can be part of the Jameson St. Patrick’s LIVE celebrations.
