This new video from one of our Plec Picks of 2015, Meltybrains?, is every bit as strange and beautiful as you might expect from the five-piece. Directed by Louise Gaffney of Come On Live Long, the clip begins simply enough with the white vinyl of Donegal spinning on a record player.

From there, the visual madness the video descends into is almost breathtaking. We won’t say too much, but be prepared for flashing, intricate images and, um, horses.

With the band jetting off to SXSW this weekend, the video for the gorgeously wavy song is yet another happy reminder as to why we’re so excited about Meltybrains? in the first place.
