I’m Your Vinyl, a band we’ve been shouting about for a few years now. Once of our favourite bites of electro-pop and we’re always pleased to get a listen to any new material.
Ken and Dana have been working hard on new material and have a brand new single set for release on iTunes on June 1st. It’s available to pre-order right now.
The band is a 50:50 effort between the gorgeous Dana Donnelly, who stamps her creativity, style and uniqueness across all their music, paired with the brilliant and prolific songwriter Ken McHugh (who wrote one of our favourite Irish songs of all time “Jellyman”).
The new single is “Erase It” and was produced in L.A. with grammy award winning Francois Tetaz, who was the producer behind ‘Somebody That I Use To Know’. So expect this to be stuck in your head.
Dana is working on her own fashion line and in June they will be off to the Czech Republic for a series of shows. Before that they have this single to release and have a video to accompany it.
It was shot in “Home of The Year” finalist Ger Eaton’s incredible house in Kildare and one of the most eye catching things in the video is the neckpiece that Dana wears. Believe it or not, it’s made from empty biro casings! It’s infectious and catchy and as usual from I’m Your Vinyl, a hell of a lot of fun. Why are you still reading, click play.
