Today on the Tony Fenton Show on Today FM they will be announcing that in conjunction with Raglane Entertainment they will be offering one unsigned bands the chance to play to 13,000 people.

The stars of The Commitments will be playin The O2, Dublin on Saturday March 19th and they are looking for a band capable of making U2 shit themselves. Tony will be joined by Andrew Strong and musical director Paul Bushell to invite any unsigned bands to enter by going to www.todayfm.com/tony and following the information on where to send the demos.

All entries must be recieved by 5pm on Monday February 28th. Once all submissions have been listened to, a final five acts will be notified and put forward into the final of the competition. The remaining five acts will at that point be asked to record a 20 second video clip of themselves performing the track which will go on Todayfm.com/tony on March 4th and Tony will invite the public to view the clips and vote for their favourite band. Voting will end Tuesday 8th March at 5pm.

On Friday 11th March the winning act will join Tony Fenton in the Today FM studio to perform the winning track live on air, before heading to The O2 on March 19th for the biggest performance of their life.
