Ballyliffen, County Donegal is the hometown of Denny and Dermot Doherty who after busking on the streets of London and Boston before coming back to play under the guise of The Plea.
Playing their own brand of Rock after posting their tunes on Myspace there was a lot of label interest but R&S Records which is a dance label were so impressed they made The Plea their first ever rock signing.
They have just finished their debut album and will be playing the support slots for Fred, Ash and Riptide Movement and have been added to the bill for Temple House, Glasgowbury, Oxegen.
The lead single ‘I Am The Miracle’ is out now.
