Just a quick update that we received in our inbox. This is the press release below that details how beneficial to charity that Robbie Williams show in The O2 was.

If you want to know what we thought, we have a review of the Robbie Williams at The O2 show via the link. All in all it was a very good show. We have heard rumours that a massive world tour is on the horizon announcement wise (i imagine he will settle into being a father first) and we could have Robbie back on these shores next year in perhaps a slightly less intimate venue.

For those wondering. Ayda gave birth to a baby girl, which they named Theodora Rose Williams.

Robbie Williams returned to Dublin recently and raised a very generous 324,877.87 Euros which will go to UNICEF Ireland and Childline.

Neither the promoters nor the artist took any fees from the concert at Dublin’s 02 on Sept 14th with just minimal venue costs being covered by ticket revenue leaving the vast majority to the two chosen charities.

On the same day Robbie Williams launched his clothing line Farrell in Brown Thomas before he thrilled the 02 with a set list spanning his twenty year career.
