WorkmansPosters7_wild_COVERWho now?

We are Wild Promises, a 4-piece from the suburbs of Dublin.

Listen How?

Our main single is ‘Ballymore’, which you can watch on YouTube or on our Facebook.  We’ve a few sneaky tunes hidden away on Breaking Tunes as well.

Who are your favourite Irish artists at the moment?

We currently love Planet Parade’s new single, and we played with Maria Somerville recently at an apartment gig who just seems to stun the room into silence, which is always a good sign! Katie Kim is someone we’ve thought is pretty special too for a long time.

Apart from the #GoldenBeck gig, what’s coming up for you this year?

We will have our first EP release in October, so it’s exciting to give people a sample of what we do because it feels like it has been in gestation so long, while we’ll also be playing at this year’s HWCH festival in The Grand Social on October 4th.

The last text message you sent is your next album title. What is it?

“Just bring your customary effervescence and percussion paraphernalia please”

Send us a photo and explain:

IMAGE 1_1This photo was taken by a family member, who was quite proud of it, but it does remind everyone of that moment in the movie ‘Almost famous’ where the other band members are blurry and faded into the background! Alas, Fergal is no Russell Hammond.

Other Creatures play our ‘GoldenPlec & Claire Beck Presents…’ night at The Workmans on 25th September.
8pm – €5
