Dear Aiken, thank you! The legend that is Paul Simon who is one of my favourite artists ever since I was handed Graceland and by the sheer class of it was forced to go listen to the entire back catalogue to catch up on what I should have been listening to.
He will play a very special show in Vicar St on June 20th 2011 as part of his European Tour and tickets are not cheap but the never are for legendary acts in small venues. Tickets cost €81.25 and go on sale Friday 15th April at 9am.
This will be Paul Simons first appearance in the capitol since a sold out show in the then venue known as The Point Theatre in November 2006. So it’s been a while. Paul Simon’s new single “The Afterlife” is available to download from iTunes now and the album ‘So Beautiful Or So What’ is due for release 10th June 2011.
