The Fitzafrenic have just finished work on their debut album and the 10 track album will be out in February 2013. They have just announced a headline show in The Grand Social to celebrate and promote the new album.

The gig will be on 17th November and will feature support from The Hassle Merchants and Graham Sharpe. Tickets for the show are €5 and the show starts at 8pm with The Fitzfrenic on stage at 10pm.

Our Krypton Son album and tour dates

Derry’s Our Krypton Son have got their debut album signed sealed and delivered, to be released on Smalltown America Records.  The album is out on CD and digital download from November 16th 2012.

Of course there are some live shows to promote the launch which includes two in Belfast, one in Derry, one in Newbridge and a visit down to Dublin to play The Stags Head. Full dates below.

Alias Empire release new single and headline show

Alias Empire (formerly known as Dry County) have released the first single from their forthcoming 2nd album ‘Safety In Numbers’ on November 9th 2012. The first single is called Lay Down and will be available from their Bandcamp to download.

Some physical copies will be available at the gig however, in Twisted Pepper on November 10th when they headline. Admission on the night at €8 and support is yet to be confirmed with a free gift pack of a limited screen print for the first 50 through the door.

Ciaran Lenehan

Irish singer songwriter Ciaran Lenehan is building up for the release of his debut album. He has a single due out in November and the album to follow it. We last heard from Ciaran back in May when Craig enjoyed his ‘It’s Never Too Late’ EP [review here].

Now with all this new stuff on the horizon, it’s time to get back on the road and he has announced an Irish winter tour for the end of November. First stop is The Roisin Dubh in Galway on November 27th followed swiftly by shows in Limerick’s The Library on November 28th, The Workmans Club on November 29th  and The Hole in The Wall, Kilkenny on December 1st.

Raglans final tour dates of 2012

It’s been quite the busy year since the release of their debut EP ‘Long Live’ for Raglans. They’ve been all over Ireland and the UK playing festivals and shows. Had ‘The Man From Glasgow used in a Coors Lite advert and have been busy writing more material too, oh and are touring with Heathers.

So to finish the year they have three shows planned. First it’s Fred Zeppelins in Cork on November 29th, then it’s out west to Galway for The Roisin Dubh on Friday 30th November and a final show in Whelans on Saturday 1st December.
