Lisa O’Neill to open for David Gray Having supported David Gray on his recent North American and Canadian tours, and currently on the road with him in the UK it’s no surprise that the talented young Cavan singer songwriter Lisa O’Neill who Gray has been quoted as saying is “A natural talent and something outside of current songwriter trends. one to watch” is to support him in Dublin.

Jenny Lindfors to support Rumer
Following on from her debut album achieving Gold status, Rumer have today announced that they will be supported by Dublin singer songwriter Jenny Lindfors.

Lynchburg Mob to play Whelans
Post-punk/Alt-rockers Lynchburg Mob are gearing up for a gig in Dublin this week

The Ghost Inside coming to Ireland
In between dates at some of Europes festivals, The Ghost Inside will be coming to Dublin for headline date. They won’t be in the UK at all so it really is a special event.

They will play Fibber Magees, Dublin on July 10th and admission is €15 with tickets available from Tower Records. Support on the night comes from Red Enemy, Hero In Error and Bailout.

Cian Nugent announces “Doubles” album launch
Dublin’s Cian Nugent will be giving a special performance to launch his brand new album entitled “Doubles” at the end of next month.

He will play The Button Factory on Thursday June 23rd with long term collaborator David Lacey and other musicians as part of his show. Doors are at 7.30pm and Admission is €10 and can be prebought from Tickets.ie.

Oxegen named best festival in Europe after Entertainment study
Havas Sports and Entertainment, one of the worlds leading marketing and research specialists have today announced that from their surveys the Oxegen music festival in Ireland came ahead of the likes of Glastonbury and V. Festivals were ranked on criteria including line-up, value and organisation, with the aim being to offer a guide to festivals for consumers and brands.

Oxegen took the number one slot, with an A+ ranking, followed by Glastonbury (A+), V Festival (A) and Belgium’s Rock Werchter (A). Oxegen also had the best line-up, according to Havas research, followed by V, Rock Werchter, Belgium’s Pukkelpop and Glastonbury.
