The Riptide Movement
The lads from The Riptide Movement will be holding their Christmas Party at The Workmans Club as they draw a close on 2011 in anticipation of a huge year in 2012. They are finalising their album due for release in April 2012 called ‘Keep On Keepin On’ and this show might see some roadtesting of new material if you’re lucky. It’s on Saturday December 10th, Doors 8pm and Ticktes are €10.

Noueaunoise
Nouveaunoise have just announced a gig in The Bernard Shaw as part of the re-opening party for the Big Blue Bus on December 10th. They have been working on new tunes so expect a lot of that. The new record ‘Detroit Sugar Rush’ is coming soon so keep eyes peeled for that

Beardyman
The vocal-manipulator and beatboxer extraordinare, Beardyman will be playing as part of Banquet in Tripod, Dublin this coming Saturday 10th December. His debut album ‘I Done A Album’ was released earlier this year. Tickets are €10 inclusive of booking fee available from Ticketmaster.ie and outlets nationwide and doors are at 11pm.

ERIC mixtape launch
ERIC is the Electronic Rock Ireland Collective and they will be have their first release on Monday 12th of December. Volume one will be a free to download 9 track compilation of irish musicians. They will be uploading a track per day until the launch night in Whelans on the 12th.

Bands featured on the mixtape include Nanoboy, Sleep Thieves and Overhead The Albatross amongst others. The launch night will cost €8 on the door or €5 tickets from MusicMaker, First 100 ticketholders get a free physical copy of the mixtape. Playing on the night will be Meljoann, Bantum, Adultrock, Monto and Meltybrains.

Carol Keogh
Carol Keogh and her band, The City Fathers, will return to Anseo on Thursday 15th December following up on their sell-out show on Friday 25th november.  A newly-recorded Christmas CD will be on sale, and admission, as before, will be €6.
Doors will be 8pm, support is from Catherine Dowling at 8.45pm and Carol Keogh is on stage no later than 9.30pm.

Bedsit Barney
Bedsit Barney will be attempting to make a Christmas No. 1 with his new track ‘Another Bad Christmas’. It is available now to download on iTunes. You can find very little extra information from his website www.bedsitbarney.com. You can check out the video for his track below.
