Music Minds is a three day multi-genre festival made up of workshops, debates, films, live performances and guest speakers is the perfect way to kickstart 2020 for those interested in the advancing music industry, its lineage, and its rapidly changing vista through technology is the perfect way to kickstart 2020.

Now in its second year, Music Minds’ emphasis is on connecting different fields of live creative arts with workshops covering Resolume Software and Ableton live taught by A-Li-ce and Cork producer Bantum. There is also a master class with London producer Leo Abrahams (Brian Eno, Jon Hopkins, David Holmes) and Mastering audio with some of Ireland’s top mastering engineers and Ireland’s first patching circle hosted by University of Limerick’s Dr Kerry Hagan.

Panels will feature live music and debate on topics such as gender imbalance in the music industry, sustainability in the music industry, the creative divide between rural and city living. The Irish Music Industry Podcast hosted by Mark Graham will also tackle topical issues. And there will also be a screening of Seamus Murphy’s ‘A Dog Called Money’, documentary about PJ Harvey’s unorthodox journey to create her acclaimed album ‘The Hope Six Demolition Project’.

Music Miunds takes place in, Doolin, Co.Clare from the 17th – 19th of January and is curated by Producer ?Simon O’Reilly? and ?Hotel Doolin.
