Two weeks ago the internet was buzzing with the news of the shortlist for the Meteor Choice Music Prize being announced and that the event will take place in The Olympia Theatre on Thursday 8th March 2012.

all playing on the night. Going to be a cracking nights music while the judges are locked up in a room deciding the fate of €10,000 and the title of Choice Music Prize album of 2011. The Meteor Choice Music Prize will be broadcast live on the night on Today FM in a special four-hour extended programme during the Paul McLoone show.
