MELTS have announce details of their second album ‘Field Theory’ which is set for release on April 12th via Fuzz Club (The Jesus and Mary Chain). The Dubliners have also shared the album’s lead single ‘Figment’.

“’Figment is about the relationship we have with the world around us, filtered through our own imagination, shaped and coloured by how the individual see’s the world. The difference between the concrete and imagined.” explain the band speaking about the album’s lead single which is accompanied by a video directed by Andy Parkes

‘Field Theory’ was recorded live to tape in Black Mountain Studios last summer with Gilla Band’s Daniel Fox on production duties. Along with news of the album MELTS have also announced UK / EU April tour-dates in support including a show at London’s Moth Club on April 30.
