The Heineken Live Stage at Electric Picnic has announced UK superstar DJ Maya Jane Coles as the final headliner for this year’s event joining Tensnake and George Feely.

Maya Jane Coles has remixed the likes of Massive Attack and Gorillaz and 2017 album ‘Take Flight’ won her album and producer of the year at the DJ Mag awards. Her 2010 track What They Say was sampled by Nicki Manaj on her smash hit Truffle Butter featuring Drake and Lil’ Wayne.

German producer Tensnake, is best known for his 2010 hit Coma Cat and his numerous remixes for acts such as Pet Shop Boys, London Grammar, Goldfrapp, Lana Del Rey and out very own DJ sensation Mano Le  Tough.

Other international acts of note appearing on the Heineken Live Stage include UK duo Dusty the Fabric regulars have appeared at the likes of Glastonbury, Pukkelpop and Exit festival and are a major draw across Europe.

Closer to home Irish DJ George Feely will close out the stage on Saturday night. Feely released two tracks on influential New York label Henry Street Music (Todd Terry, The Bucketheads, Arman Van Helden), earlier this year and appeared on influential platform Boiler Room.

Irish diva and 2017 Plec Picks act Erica Cody, will bring her modern slant on a classic ’80s R’N’B sound with lyrics that highlight the afro-Irish experience – not to be missed on Saturday evening. Fresh from a sensational performance at Love Sensation, PrYmary Colours (check out the amazing photos here) will bring their colourful, fun-filled show to Stradbally on Friday. Also on Friday, stalwart of the Cork music scene Stevie G will get the party started with his legendary record collection – he never disappoints.

Mona Lxsa returns to the EP decks on Friday after her rave performance last year. The now infamous Sing Along Social will perform both Saturday and Sunday – if you fancy a guilt-free bop to all the tunes you know and love, then look no further.

Then to round off the weekend on Sunday, our fav 3-piece DJ act We 3 Kings, who played our Block Party Jam back in December kick things off early on Sunday. Miss Kate, who played one of our Workman’s gigs for us a few years back returns to the live fold after an extended break. Then Mathman follows for what is sure to be one of the high-energy sets that he’s become known for.
