Following sold-out performances in The Button Factory last year, Lizzy McAlpine is set to play her biggest Irish show to date in Vicar Street this June. Currently sitting pretty at No.5 in the Irish singles charts with ‘Ceilings’ the latest single from her breakthrough album ‘Five Seconds Flat’ which features contributions from Jacob Collier and FINNEAS. The Grammy nominated artist is quickly becoming one of the country’s most popular acts.

Check out the video for ‘Ceilings’ below directed by Gus Black (Phoebe Bridgers, Sheryl Crow).

Following the success of ‘Five Seconds Flat’, Mc Alpine received a Grammy nomination for ‘Never Gonna Be Alone’ her collaboration with John Mayer and Jacob Collier and has since gone on to pen the theme tune for the Apple Original series “Dear Edward” with Oscar-winning songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (“La La Land,” “The Greatest Showman”).

June’s sold out show in Vicar Street is likely to be followed up by major Irish festival appearances and we wouldn’t be surprised to see McAlpine announced for their own outdoor headline show in the near future.
