If you are at all versed in exceedingly good Irish music you’ll have no doubt have heard of The Shaker Hymn. Over the past few years The Shaker Hymn have realeased a couple of noteworthy albums and some earworm.. The good news is that lead singer from The Shaker Hymn, Caoilian Sherlock has gone ahead and released his solo debut EP under the moniker of Saint Caoilian. Sherlock has taken inspiration from the records he grew up listening to; Paul Simon, John Prine and more recent luminaries like Bill Ryder Jones and Angel Olsen.

‘The Faraway’ EP comes on the back of a year of prestigious support slots with Roy Harper, Ryley Walker and short tour around Ireland with Joan Shelley and Nathan Salsburg. There is also some live dates to put in the calendar on your smart phone.
