In the wake of Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington’s suicide, a charity singalong has been organised in Fibber Magee’s on Thursday, 3 August. All proceeds from the night will be donated to Pieta House.

The event, the brainchild of Glenn Fitzpatrick and organised by Joe Panama, will allow fans to pay their respects by screaming along to every word of Linkin Park’s debut studio album, Hybrid Theory. The album will be played in its entirety from start to finish, including such hits as ‘Numb’ and ‘In the End’.

The has already inspired extreme interest, with 1000 people clicking ‘Attending’ within hours of the event going live on Facebook. Tickets are reportedly already close to selling out.

The use of Fibbers has been provided by Stephen Mac Kell and the poster for the event was designed free of charge by Darcie Faccio.
