Fresh from the success of their Top 10 debut album ‘Madra’, NewDad have shared their recent cover of The Cure’s Just Like Heaven which was recorded as part of the BBC’s Live at Maida Vale series. The Galway quartet are well-known disciples of Robert Smith so it was no surprise to see them choose to cover the track and Julie Dawson’s vocal gives the track some extra tenderness.

The cover lands just ahead of the group’s two sold-out shows in The Button Factory later this month. The group are set to play a heft of UK and EU festivals this summer alongside supporting one of their other musical heroes the Pixies in Galway.
